Jo began her professional journey as a dancer, developing a deep appreciation for movement as both an art form and a path to self-discovery. She later expanded into yoga, earning her Yoga Teacher Certification from Sivananda Yoga Vedanta in India in 2013. With over 10 years of teaching experience, Jo has guided students through Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, Restorative, Aerial, and Hot Yoga in both group classes and private sessions. Her dance background informs her keen eye for alignment, fluidity, and expressive movement, while her yoga training grounds her teaching in breath awareness and mindful practice. Jo is passionate about helping individuals build strength, mobility, and confidence through embodied movement. As a GYROTONIC Instructor, Jo integrates her dance and yoga background with anatomical awareness to improve mobility, strength, and coordination, delivering personalized, goal-oriented sessions that support efficient movement, postural balance, and long-term musculoskeletal health.
