Brooke graduated with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Alberta in 2013, after completing a Bachelor in Kinesiology from the University of Calgary. While Brooke enjoys treating all varieties of injuries and conditions, she has taken a special interest in chronic pain and treating complex clients. She uses a personalized approach to tailor treatments to each individual’s needs, with a focus on reducing pain and regaining function. Her passion and enthusiasm allows her to provide excellent care to each client. Brooke takes on a multidisciplinary approach to treatment and has worked alongside other healthcare practitioners to provide well rounded care for her clients. She has been trained in providing the GLA:D program, a national initiative to treat hip and knee osteoarthritis in Canada, and one of the first practitioners to bring the program to Alberta. Brooke is also on the spinal manipulation and dry needling rosters for the Alberta College of Physical Therapists. Although designing exercise programs with a client’s functional needs in mind is always her main focus, she likes to integrate several modes of treatment into her sessions, including hands-on treatment, functional dry needling, cupping, laser and shockwave therapy. Outside of work, Brooke is very family-oriented, and busy spending time with her husband, two young children and dogs. She loves camping and spending time outdoors with her family.
