As a life-long patient ofboth osteopathic manipulative medicine and massage therapy, I have adeeply fostered appreciation forthe physical and mental benefits of bodywork and highly respect the power of therapeutic touch, which led me to become a WV Licensed Massage Therapist in August 2020. Living most of my life around the mountains, rivers, wildlife, and livestock, has led me to be attuned to the unspoken and often unnoticed energetic exchanges around and within us. In honoring this interest, and hoping to share the healing I've experienced through energy work with others, I became First and Second Degree Usui Reiki Certified in July 2021. Every session I "meet you where you're at"- your tissues, your issues, and your needs. I primarily work with hot stones and essential oils, occasionally cupping, and seamlessly incorporate Eastern modalities such as reflexology and Reiki. I work with many clients managing chronic pain conditions, pre/post-surgery, through pregnancy and postpartum, living with extreme stress including PTSD, and those who have never experienced bodywork. I sincerely value the nurturing and healing ways of thisAppalachian valley and her people, and aim to bring that full circle through Appalachian Healing Therapies by offering services that are beneficial and affordable to everyone.
