Hello! I’m Chris – practicing licensed therapist and owner of Therapeutic Massage Associates Texas. Over the last 18 years, Massage has proven so much more than a job, it’s a way to live and to give something meaningful and healing to others. It’s vastly about being present for each client’s session, contributing to the journey we are both on. I am Board Certified nationally, and owner of Therapeutic Massage Associates Texas. As someone who has been through the trial of back pain and recovery, I am especially sensitive to the needs of those in muscular pain. If it’s back pain, neck pain or knotty areas that keep you from doing what you’d like, I may be able to help with that and show you how to take charge. I began my career working for an extremely talented chiropractor and in the infancy of my massage internship, I became the patient! This said, I can say to you that I know firsthand, what it is like to be on that side of pain. After my school clinics were over, I became a full fledged therapist with a special kind of empathy and have been doing massage ever since. From 2001, I’ve worked for several chiropractors and privately owned therapeutic businesses, as well as 15 years in my own private practice. Sessions offered will take into account your history and goals, utilizing a variety of techniques: Relaxation/Swedish - if that is your goal, or Deep Tissue, Trigger Point, Myofascial Tissue Release, Sports, Structural Analysis or a combination of all of these. Whatever your focus, I am here to help and to help manage muscular pain and concerns. Be Here Now . This means being in the moment– being in your body and creating – right now - in the here and now.
