Sarah is originally from Fredericton, New Brunswick and recently moved to PEI in the summer of 2023. Her journey to physiotherapy began with her graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of New Brunswick in 2019. She continued her education at Dalhousie University where she completed a Masters of Science in Physiotherapy in 2021. Following her time spent in Halifax, she moved to St. John’s, Newfoundland, working with patients in an inpatient setting on an orthopaedic floor. She gained experiencing working with people following total joint replacements, amputations, and vascular surgeries. Later, she transitioned to working in private practice where she discovered her passion for providing treatment to athletes and the general population for primarily musculoskeletal injuries. Sarah has continued her education in studying treatment for osteoarthritis and is certified as a GLA:D Canada trainer. Her treatment style entails an exercise-based and manual therapy approach to help her clients achieve their goals towards a healthy and active lifestyle. In her free time, you can often find Sarah outside training for an endurance running event, exploring the mountain biking trails on the island, or practicing her mindfulness through yoga.
