From the plains of Inner Mongolia, I am a cosmopolitan. I graduated from China University of Political Science and Law and practiced law in Beijing for seven years. I graduated from Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts and worked as a chef for nine years, taking my career to the five-star Marriott Hotel. But I wanted to do something I could do for the rest of my life, so I graduated from the University of East-West Medicine as an acupuncturist. There is a reason I have always loved learning. No knowledge is ever wasted. Even my vastly different jobs have their intersections. My experience as a chef, for example, gives me a unique perspective on prescriptions and nutrition. My experience as a lawyer has also made deducing illnesses based on details a more familiar process. Learning is a lifelong process, and I firmly believe in that. It serves as an advantage that traditional herbal is so intricate. The knowledge gathered from centuries of practice has fallen upon me to relearn. Such is the reason I believe I will continue on this path for the rest of my life. I have always thought a career of relieving pains, helping people live better lives, and curing illness a divine servitude. Now I have picked up the red cross, the path is arduous, but that has never stopped me before.
