Shannon is an Advanced Neuromuscular Therapist with a decade of experience specializing in pain management. She is experienced with a wide variety of concerns such as fibromyalgia, frozen shoulder, whiplash, TMJD, migraines and the dreaded shoulder/low-back combo many office workers suffer from. She’s also experienced in a wide variety of modalities such as trigger point therapy, sports massage, lymphatic drainage, myofascial release, somatic therapy and cupping. Rather than focusing on one modality, Shannon utilizes all the tools in her tool belt to create a session personalized for every client every time. Years of experience working in pain management has taught her to meet each person where they are; acknowledging that we all have history and traumas surrounding our pain and that holding space is equally as important in the healing process. She graduated from the National Holistic Institute’s Advanced Neuromuscular Therapy Program with honors, earned a Personal Training certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and holds a Pilates Mat I certification. She previously had a thriving private practice in Sacramento before moving to the South Bay to be closer to family. Shannon is also passionate about exercise, hiking and fully taking advantage of rest days with a good book or video game.
