Originally from Perth, I’ve lived in East Van for the past 7 years and I feel very fortunate to be part of the Hastings Sunrise community. I was drawn to pursuing massage therapy as a career, as I was seeking more meaningful work and had experienced the benefits first hand in my recovery from several sports related injuries. My approach to care is from a place of curiosity where I look beyond the symptoms and try to understand what is contributing to the pain or dysfunction my patients are experiencing. I use methodologies such as Swedish massage, muscle stripping, myofascial release, trigger point release, and joint mobilizations. When not at work, I enjoy wandering with my dog, rock climbing, tinkering on my car and tending to my garden.
