Dr. Haritha Thevar

Dr. Haritha is a highly skilled and compassionate Naturopathic Doctor, fully licensed by the College of Naturopaths of Ontario (CONO). She is also an active member of the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors (OAND) and the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND). With a deep academic foundation, Dr. Haritha earned her Doctor of Naturopathy degree from the esteemed Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine after completing a Bachelor of Science with a double major in Biology and Psychology from Western University. Her passion for holistic, integrative healthcare is rooted in her upbringing in a family that valued natural remedies and preventative measures to maintain health. This early exposure to simple, natural healing tools set the stage for Dr. Haritha’s calling in naturopathic medicine. Her commitment to this path was further fueled by witnessing the struggles of loved ones who, despite their health concerns, did not find sufficient support from the conventional healthcare system. Dr. Haritha is dedicated to improving both individual and community health, emphasizing the interconnectedness between the two. She practices evidence-informed, patient-centered care, guided by the principles of disease prevention and long-term health promotion. She takes a comprehensive approach to healthcare, utilizing a wide range of naturopathic treatments, including acupuncture, supplementation, nutritional counseling, and lifestyle support. Acupuncture, in particular, serves as a powerful tool in her practice to address everything from chronic pain and stress management to digestive issues and hormonal imbalances.
