Walnut Grove Chiropractic & Massage Therapy

#110 - 8814 216 St, Langley, BC, V1M 2Z9

Matthew graduated from Vancouver career college from a 3,000 hour massage therapy program in 2018. He is a member in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of British Columbia along with the Registered Massage Therapist's Association of BC. As a young kid, he always stayed active by playing ice hockey and soccer, and would frequently get injured. This is where his interest in helping others began. Initially, he thought he could achieve this by becoming a paramedic, but later on realized his passion was better suited for massage therapy. Matthew received his Emergency Medical Response license from the Justice institute of B.C. and volunteered as a first aid attendant. Matthew likes to focus on, but is not limited to trigger point release, muscle energy techniques, fascial release and joint mobilizations. When it comes to Matthew's practice, he believes in a thorough assessment of the patient's symptoms to help create a balanced treatment within their comfort level, to achieve optimal results. Matthew is looking to expand his skills and knowledge in cranio-sacral therapy, as well as visceral manipulation techniques. In his spare time, Matthew enjoys getting away from the busy city by going on hikes and camping outdoors. He also continues to play hockey recreationally in season to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
