My journey into massage therapy was a big jump after working in the banking industry for 19 years. I have always enjoyed seeing people happy and feeling good. It was always a lifelong dream of mine to become a Licensed Massage Therapist, and to open my own business. In 2008 I choseThe St.Croix Center for the Healing Arts private school in Hudson, WI.The many lessons I learned were above and beyond what I ever imagined. These lessons have made me become a very successful Massage Therapist. I hadextensive training in Integrative (Swedish), Deep Tissue, Basic Reflexology, Acupressure, Hydrotherapy & spa concepts, Chair Massage, Related Business, Communications, & Ethics, Anatomy/Physiology, Aromatherapy, & Therapeutic cupping.The education that I received at the St. Croix Center for the Healing Arts was crucial in opening up my own business and being successful. The holistic healing and their approach to bodywork integrating a medical base with different techniques of the healing arts has been an incredible, rewarding journey. Daily, I practice the SCCHA philosophy: "Life paths seem to have a new meaning and depth after experiencing the TRUE art of healing touch." In June 2010, I opened my own business in the lower level (separate entrance) in my home, which used to be a beauty shop in the 60's and 70's. Working out of my home, I can keep my prices competitive and affordable to my clients so they can get regular massages. My services are customized for each individual for general relaxation and stress reduction. SPECIALTIES My specialty is deep tissue massage, but is not limited to that. I am trained in a wide variety of massage techniques, and I always give my clients a thorough consultation before each service so I make sure I am meeting their specific needs. The reason I love what I do is seeing the difference I make by helping my clients feel the best they can. Watching the stress and pain disappear from my clients means I have done my job to the fullest. I strive to build a strong clientele and make sure every client leavesfeeling relaxed and refreshed in body, mind, & spirit. My Mission Statement is what I believe in...
