Healthcare practitioners that provide regulated health services such as Registered Massage Therapy should not accept tips, as tipping is not expected or appropriate and is discouraged. Please note that all Registered Massage Therapy treatment sessions may include an initial assessment, kinesiology/remedial exercises, or other components within the allotted time. For example, if you book a 30-minute session and have not completed your health history forms in advance, completing them at the appointment will likely reduce the time available for your treatment. Registered Acupuncture - Initial/ Re- Assessment

This option is recommended for new patients or for existing patients requiring a re-assessment of their condition or treatment plan. Acupuncture is a regulated healthcare service provided following a comprehensive health intake and individualized clinical assessment and may be based on Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) principles, contemporary acupuncture approaches, or an integrative combination of both, depending on clinical presentation and patient goals. Treatment may involve the insertion of thin, sterile, single-use needles into specific points on the body, selected based on the presenting condition and treatment plan. Acupuncture and/or Tui Na (Chinese Medical Massage) may be used to support the reduction of pain, improve musculoskeletal function, and promote overall balance and well-being within the Registered Acupuncture scope of practice. Temporary redness, tenderness/soreness, bruising, and slight bleeding at the needle insertion or treatment site may occur following acupuncture treatment regardless of treatment duration. These effects are generally mild and resolve without intervention.***
