I have been intrigued by acupuncture since visiting China in 1994, but never felt like I had a reason to seek out treatment. In 2009, my first son turned breech last minute and I used acupuncture to help me have a natural childbirth. I found acupuncture again while pregnant with my second son when I found myself a week late with his delivery. While getting a treatment, I decided I wanted to know more about how acupuncture worked, what else acupuncture could help with, and how acupuncture can prevent sickness and illness. I am a graduate of the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Denver, CO, with my MS in Traditional Chinese Medicine and licensed in acupuncture. I have spent my entire life studying the body from being a dancer to being a pilates instructor to treating patients with acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. My life-long goal has been to help people get their health to the most optimum point. Prevention is the best medicine.
