Physiotherapist Taj is dedicated to helping athletes and active individuals recover from injuries, prevent re-injury, and confidently return to the sports and activities they enjoy. Taj completed a Bachelor of Kinesiology degree at the University of British Columbia before earning his Master of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Western Ontario. Taj’s interest in treating acute and chronic sports-related injuries grew out of his own experiences - first as a youth soccer player navigating injuries, and later as a Student Athletic Trainer for UBC Athletics. A clinical placement at the renowned Fowler Kennedy Sports Medicine Clinic further deepened his interest and expertise in sports medicine and rehabilitation. Taj believes successful recovery begins with individualized exercise programs, effective pain-management strategies, and empowering patients to take an active role in their care. He remains committed to evidence-based practice and continually updates his skills to optimize care. Taj is fluent in Punjabi, allowing him to provide care in both English and Punjabi. Outside the clinic, Taj stays active by lifting weights, playing pickup basketball, and exploring new sports. Currently, Taj is learning how to golf!
