Alaina is a Registered Massage Therapist who studied at the Ontario College of Health & Technology and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science (Social Work electives) from Carleton University. She is also a Lymphatic Drainage Therapist, Craniosacral Therapist, Certified Yoga Instructor, and has a background in personal training. Before becoming an RMT, Alaina spent nearly 10 years working as a Rehabilitation Therapist, supporting individuals with acquired brain injuries and complex physical conditions. This experience shaped her clinical approach and led her to pursue manual therapy as a way to help people achieve meaningful, long-term improvements in their quality of life. Alaina takes a thoughtful, goal-oriented approach to care, focusing on identifying root causes rather than simply treating symptoms. She works best with clients who are engaged in their care and looking for guided, intentional treatment. Her practice often incorporates Craniosacral Therapy and Lymphatic Drainage, along with patient education and individualized movement or exercise recommendations when appropriate. Outside the clinic, Alaina is a busy mom who enjoys strength training, yoga, walking her dog, and spending time outdoors.

Lymphatic Drainage

60 Minute Lymphatic Drainage Therapy
New PatientGeneral

Lymphatic Drainage Massage (LDM) is a gentle, rhythmic technique designed to encourage the natural movement of lymph fluid throughout the body. By stimulating the lymphatic system, this treatment helps reduce swelling, promote detoxification, and support immune function. LDM can leave you feeling lighter, more balanced, and deeply relaxed. It is particularly beneficial for individuals experiencing fluid retention, chronic inflammation, post-surgical swelling, sinus congestion, or general fatigue, as well as those looking to support their body’s natural recovery and cleansing processes. We recommend booking a minimum of 1 hour for your first Lymphatic Drainage Massage to allow adequate time for assessment and treatment. **Please note: You cannot book this treatment if you have been diagnosed with stage 2 or higher lymphedema ***Please note that as of November 24th the fee for this treatment is increasing by $5.00.
