Melanie graduated with a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto. Prior to this she studied at Brock University and attained a Bachelor of Kinesiology. Melanie has also completed the Neurofunctional Medical Acupuncture program at McMaster University and her pilates training with Body Harmonics. Melanie is a strong believer of regular movement and mindfulness for one’s physical and mental health. She has worked as personal trainer and pilates instructor over the years focusing on chronic injuries and athlete development. Melanie enjoys working with a variety of conditions and individuals and has a keen interest in working with athletes of all levels. Melanie’s treatment approach consists of a combination of manual therapy, contemporary acupuncture and exercise. Every person’s body has a unique history and story as to how it got to where it is today – Mel will assess and treat accordingly to optimize your body.
