Dr. Sarah Kalani Wharton is a South Carolina native and has called Charleston home since 2004. Chiropractic has changed her life in so many ways that are immeasurable, unreasonable and extraordinary. Dr. Sarah received her undergraduate degree from the College of Charleston in 2008 and in 2016 she began her journey at Sherman College of Chiropractic in Spartanburg, SC. During her studies at Sherman College, she took over 200 hours of certified Gonstead Chiropractic Training and in 2024 she received and advanced certification in Pediatric Chiropractic with the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA). When providing care for her patients, she borrows from various chiropractic techniques such as Gonstead, Thompson, Webster, Toggle/Upper-Cervical, and Sacro-Occipital Technique (SOT). Other certifications include 200+ Yoga Teacher Certification and Reiki Levels 1 &2, so that is sprinkled throughout her care. She opened Cypress Chiropractic & Wellness in 2022 with the vision of reconnecting the community with their life-force energy and transforming the world with chiropractic care.
