Dr. Kurtis Munro is the typical Squamish dad loving the outdoors and the sports that come with it. He has enjoyed pushing the limits of his individual sports and sharing that passion with his little kiddos. He enjoys mountain biking, skiing, climbing, hiking, motocross, slack lining and many more outdoor activities and has always been passionate about how the body moves and functions in these sports. Through his life, chiropractic care has been a huge help in maintaining the mobility needed to participate in the sports that we all love as well as aid in the recovery process of the injuries that can be inevitable living in this outdoor playground we call home. Kurtis attended Thompson Rivers University where he received his Bachelors of Science Hons. and continued his education at Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto, ON. where he received his Doctorate of Chiropractic. During the 4 year program Dr. Munro gained an extensive knowledge of anatomy and physiology and how to apply that to an evidence based way of treating patients. Kurtis loves sharing his knowledge and treating a variety of patients whether they are looking for postural correction, injury rehabilitation or are just looking to maintaining good mobility throughout their active lifestyles. He uses techniques such as muscle release techniques, joint mobilizations and adjustments and exercises prescription to suit the individual patients needs.
