Im happy youre here, Welcome!! Ive lived in Delaware all, but 6 months of my life brought here by the Military and its been home ever since. The body fascinates me!! Ive always been very curious about health, well being, how the body functions, amazed by its performance and ability to adapt. My curiosity was peaked after working for a chiropractor as a Chiropractic assistant. I wore many hats from taking x-rays, educating clients, to insurance, and more. This is where I gained a strong foundation of the body, knowledge of the spine, nervous system, its relationship with the body, and the importance of body awareness. I knew then I wanted a direct connection to work with and help people. I found massage and felt right at home!! I became a certified massage practitioner in 2001. I was so hungry for knowledge I became nationally certified in 2007 and Board certified in 2016. I pride myself in learning continually adding tools to my toolbox, learning about the many body processes, and health practices to better assist and guide my clients holistically. Over my 18 years as a massage therapist Ive come to strongly believe although our bodies fundamentally have the same parts, we DO NOT process all things the same such as, stress, injury, recovery, trauma, diet, etc. Because of this, I look at all aspects of clients to customize massages for their needs. When I work with clients, I use many modalities in energy and touch for each session along with educating and sharing wellness practices. My passion is encouraging and educating my clients to empower them to practice self-advocacy so they can play an active part in their overall health. I am Board certified through NCBTMB (National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork). I have been a member of ABMP (Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals) since 2001. I have been a member of AMTA (American Massage Therapy Association) since 2014. I became an AMTA board member in 2019 and was nominated to represent Delaware at CVOP (Chapter Volunteer Orientation Program) for national convention in 2019. Delaware State License number: MC-0000955
