Hi, my name is Kaeli! I am a graduate of Arlington School of Massage and am excited to bring my skills to your bodywork needs. My background lies in physical therapy, where I spent 16 years working with patients of all walks of life. I spent nine of those years working as a physical therapist assistant and became proficient in a variety of settings, including skilled nursing, home care, orthopedic outpatient, and women's health clinics. My specialties are manual lymphatic drainage and lymphedema care as well as injury rehab and prevention. I adjusted careers from Physical Therapy to Massage Therapy in 2021 so I could better serve my clients and their goals and enhance their potential of finding balance within their bodies. I am a graduate of Bastyr University's Bachelor of Exercise Science and Wellness program Class of 2005. I received my Physical Therapist Assistant degree from Whatcom Community College in 2012. I later took specialty classes with Klose Training and became a Certified Lymphedema Therapist in 2019. I received my Intra Oral massage endorsement in January of 2022. I have made it a priority to continue my education through a variety of course throughout my career, developing techniques that relate to neurological and musculoskeletal conditions, functional rehab and pelvic health. I have worked with many populations in countless settings. I am very excited to bring my skill set to my massage therapy practice! I look forward to helping you with your bodywork needs to restore that vital balance.
Manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) is a type of gentle massage which is intended to encourage the natural drainage of the lymph, which carries waste products away from the tissues back toward the heart.
