Waqar has a Bachelor and a Master’s degree in Community Physiotherapy from India. He has accumulated about 15 years of working experience in Physiotherapy, working right from Outpatient care to ICU and in private clinics to multidisciplinary Tertiary Care Hospitals handling patients from all walks of life. Waqar calls Calgary home and continues to seek further professional growth with an inclusive attitude towards different aspects of health & wellness. Waqar enjoys treating a variety of conditions. He has considerable experience in treating patients having injuries to shoulder, neck, back, knee and ankle as well as those suffering from dizziness, vertigo and even with TMJ (jaw) pain and stiffness. He has hands-on skills to perform numerous joint mobilization techniques that aid mobility of joints and various soft tissues techniques that are evidence based and assist in effective treatment outcomes. A thorough assessment and patient education form the foundation for his treatment plan, empowering clients to attain maximum knowledge about their condition and to get back to doing what they love the most.
