Kai is a NY State licensed practitioner of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Her journey into the medicine began when she sought out solutions for her face and body eczema. Chinese Herbal medicine, provided relief and a cure but also rebuilt a loving and sincere relationship with her heritage and identity. Kai has spent extensive time working under the supervision of seasoned practitioners, completing a rich apprenticeship under a full-body China-trained Gua Sha master, learning Tui Na techniques, moxibustion (heat therapy), electrical acupuncture and dry needling therapy. Outside of helping patients in clinic, she can be found hiking in the Catskills or deepening her Pranayama practice. As an American-born Chinese woman, the golden thread of her life has been weaving two opposing perspectives into one functional paradigm: Eastern thought and the Western lifestyle.

Acupuncture is the practice of using ultra-fine metallic needles to activate or stimulate specific parts of the body. Depending on your particular needs, a practitioner can activate nerves or pathways with electrical stimulation or physically with their hands in precise and gentle movement.
