Maurice graduated with a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Physiotherapy from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2013, followed by a Master’s in Musculoskeletal Medicine and Rehabilitation from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Trent University in Toronto. Maurice has completed extensive post-graduate training, including certifications in Orthopedic Manual Therapy (Curtin University, Australia), Acupuncture (HKUSpace, Hong Kong), Clinical Pilates (DMA), and Anatomical Neuropathic Intramuscular Stimulation/Dry Needling (Foundation’s Health Education). His primary focus is on managing sports injuries through manual therapy and exercise. With a background in both clinical and occupational settings, Maurice has worked with orthopedic surgeons, elderly care centers, and at Hong Kong Disneyland Resort, where he focused on rehabilitation for performing cast members. He has also been recognized by the Occupational Health & Safety Council (HK) for his contributions to ergonomic education. Maurice grew up in Toronto and outside of work, he enjoys cycling, video games, and tinkering with new tech. His problem-solving skills and attention to detail in these hobbies inform his approach to patient care, where he focuses on addressing the root cause of issues, not just the symptoms.
