Krista Schurter is a dedicated physiotherapist with a strong foundation in human kinetics and rehabilitation. She earned her Bachelor of Kinesiology (Honours) from the University of Waterloo before pursuing her Masters of Science in Physiotherapy at Queen’s University. Krista has expanded her clinical expertise by completing several post-graduate courses, including training in acupuncture, manual therapy, concussion management, and vestibular rehabilitation. With a particular passion for working with dancers, Krista has completed the Royal Academy of Dance Advanced I examination, equipping her with a unique understanding of the specific physical demands and injury risks associated with ballet. Her knowledge and skills allow her to support dancers in both injury prevention and rehabilitation, ensuring they can continue pursuing their passion while maintaining optimal physical health. Outside of her clinical practice, Krista is an advocate for an active lifestyle. She enjoys running, hiking, and spending time outdoors with her family, and she is committed to helping her clients lead active, healthy lives as well.
