Beginning in 2010, Rachael has been involved in educating herself on how to help and heal her physical body. From the everyday occurrences of life to other injuries, she has learned to adapt and find new ways to heal. She has learned techniques, some as simple as breathing with a purpose. Others which involve tuning into the knowing of the body to guide oneself in positive instinctual ways of helping the physical self. Through this journey, she has found in her own life that the information she has learned spills over into a more whole view of life. The body is magical in its abilities to heal and the mind can so powerfully affect the body. Simple observations and awareness and learning instinctual aspects connected to the mind and body, can positively impact us and allow for more awareness and insight. Awareness can create less of the negative we feel in our bodies. Rachaels clients convey in addition to the physical aspects of the work, they experience a positive shift in their mood and overall being.
One of the purposes of reflexology is to release tension, this is done by using different reflex points on the back, legs, feet, arms, hands and head. These places can link to other parts of the body and ease tension there, helping you to feel better.
