Noreen is a Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture from the Canadian Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Her areas of clinical focus include pain management, orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions, emotional health, and gynecology. She has also completed specialized training in fertility acupuncture and participates in Acupuncture Collective’s Fertility Support Program. She found her calling in Chinese Medicine due to its emphasis on vitality, graceful aging, and preventative medicine. During her time working in corporate Calgary, Chinese Medicine became an effective way to promote and maintain her physical and emotional well-being. A lifelong learner, Noreen’s previous experience includes being a Chartered Accountant, working in the charitable and not-for-profit sector, teaching as a university lecturer, a short stint in pre-veterinary medicine, and earning degrees in English and Marketing. With a focus on each individual’s unique circumstances, Noreen’s treatment plans utilize acupuncture, gua sha, cupping, herbal formulas, and lifestyle modifications to deliver supportive care that nourishes the body and mind. When she’s not in the clinic, Noreen loves reading mystery novels, watching Star Trek reruns, forest hikes, and spending time with her zoo of four cats and a dog.
