Originally from Calgary Alberta, Emma completed her undergraduate degree at Queen’s University where she obtained a Bachelor of Science Honours in Kinesiology with a certificate in Disability and Physical Activity, and recently graduated from the University of Toronto with her Masters in Physical Therapy. In addition she has taken her Pelvic Health Solutions Level 1 course on the physical therapy approach to incontinence. Emma has experience working as a physical activity coach, a physiotherapy assistant, and a clinical extern at a Toronto Hospital. Most recently, Emma worked as a paediatric physiotherapy assistant providing hydrotherapy to children of all ages. Outside of school and work Emma enjoys cooking and baking, crafting, or getting active with a run or some yoga. Emma has a longstanding passion for working in physiotherapy, especially in paediatrics, pelvic health, and orthopaedic/athletic populations. She is always excited to get creative and have fun within physiotherapy.
