Education and Certification I am a Licensed Massage Therapist working in Grand Rapids, MI. I graduated from the Michigan Institute for Healing Arts and Sciences in 2008. I specialize in relaxation, improved function and relief of chronic complaints through a unique combination of client education and hands-on treatment. Most clients see me for my Signature Session in which I combine techniques from my training in John Barnes Myofascial Release, CranioSacral Therapy, Manual Lymph Drainage, cupping, heat application, kinesiotaping and Trigger Point Massage. I have helped clients with a variety of issues such as headaches, stomach aches, depression, anxiety, back/neck/arm/shoulder/leg/foot/joint pain, TMJ, Bell's Palsy, ankle swelling and stress. Professional and Versatile I support people in being more present and centered through a variety of bodywork techniques that help to identify the underlying causes of stress and pain. I create a safe space for clients to deeply relax and unwind as I listen to their spoken needs and follow the strain patterns in their tissues. I have had the honor of seeing many people for their first bodywork session. It is my intention to create a safe, open atmosphere so that you receive what it is you are seeking. I welcome feedback throughout your session. I am trained in a variety of techniques and want to work with you to discover what brings you the most relief.
