Dr. Yan Qu, a registered Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine, has been trained in both western medicine and Chinese medicine for 12 years. She obtained the bachelor’s degree in western medicine in Lanzhou university, and the master’s degree in TCM in Guangxi TCM university in China. She has also gone through a traditional way of training with few well-known TCM masters for many years. Dr. Qu is one of the pioneer instructors in KPU acupuncture program and has owned a great reputation among students about her knowledge, skills, passion and compassion. She inherited a traditional approach to diagnosis and needling technique. She thinks a successful treatment is from the efforts of both doctors and patients and believes that living with awareness is the starting point of healing.
