Kimberly Furlong is the founder of Transform Physio + Wellness, and a registered physiotherapist with over a decade of experience working with a variety of injuries, disabilities, and impairments in adult and paediatric orthopaedic and **pelvic health physiotherapy**. Kimberly completed her Masters in Physical Therapy in 2013 from the University of Alberta in Edmonton after switching careers from teaching in the classroom to teaching in the clinic. Since then, she has become certified in anatomical acupuncture, intramuscular dry needling, adult and paediatric pelvic health, advanced orthopaedic manual and manipulative levels, and certifications in fitness training through the Canadian Society of Exercise Physiology. She has also completed extended coursework in working with those on the autism spectrum as well as other disabilities. Kimberly is an advocate for accessible exercise and inclusivity and blends her education and exercise training to give her patients the tools and knowledge to incorporate health and wellness into their daily life. As a mom of two busy boys, Kim enjoys her days off watching her sons play sports, baking a new recipe in her kitchen or exploring a new coffee shop with her husband Rob. This appointment is for women with pelvic health concerns. Please book this if you are a new patient or a returning patient who hasn't had a treatment in over 6 months. This assessment is for you if you are experiencing pelvic issues such as pelvic pain, bladder or bowel concerns, incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, urinary urgency or frequency, as well as sexual wellness concerns. This assessment is also for you if you are pregnant, wanting to prepare for labour and delivery, as well as the postpartum phase. This assessment includes an optional internal pelvic floor examination which you can discuss further with your therapist.
