I have always been interested in working in health care, from being a CNA for 3 years to PTA school, and then eventually realizing massage therapy was my passion! I have always loved working closely with people and helping them feel like their best selves and with massage I can do just that! Whether you are just wanting to relax from the day to day stresses or are looking for a more therapeutic massage, this is the place for you. Specialties include Swedish, Himalayan salt stones, prenatal massage and Cupping. A lot of people ask where my business name comes from, I didnt want the typical healing hands/knead me kind of name so I took my love of massage and combined it with my love of poetry, Edgar Allan Poe specifically and ended up with The Raven! All of my massages are named after some of his poems as well.
Smooth Himalayan salt stones are heated and then lubricated with oil, the therapeutic effects of heat are used to relax muscles more deeply. Used as an extension of the therapists hands, the use of massage stones induces deep relaxation and provides a unique experience many find to be tremendously calming and centering.
