Hello Everyone! My name is Darby Rutledge, I am a Certified Massage Therapist, Certified Lymphatic Drainage Therapist and Reiki Practitioner. I graduated from Wellness Massage & Training Institute in St. Albans, VT during June of 2017. Since then I have had the pleasure of working at a day spa and then transitioned to working at an Acupuncture office doing more clinical massage. Eventually, I found my way to starting my own practice; Darby Grace Massage & Wellness. I am very passionate about healing and I believe it shows in my work. Working with every individual client on their specific needs and requests during their session. I am certified in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, Lymphatic Drainage, Prenatal, Reiki, Cupping. I am looking forward to seeing familiar faces and sharing my practice with you!
Massage
During your treatment, a combination of techniques—such as Swedish relaxation massage, deep tissue work, and myofascial release may be used to support your comfort and well-being. We’ll take time before we begin to talk about your goals, ensuring your session is thoughtfully tailored to what you need most.
Lymphatic Drainage
Manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) is a very gentle technique intended to encourage the movement of lymph and decongest areas of fluid build up. MLD treatment is repetitive motions coupled with extremely light touch creating a calming effect on the nervous system. This is a good support for anxiety, chronic pain, touch sensitivity, and sleep quality. With the intention of moving the lymph fluid this is also a great treatment for post-surgical swelling, autoimmune diseases, mild lymphedema, migraines, and more.
