Emily was born and raised in Calgary, where she completed her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Calgary. She then went on to complete her Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Alberta. Emily takes a combined approach of therapeutic exercise and hands-on manual therapy techniques, including soft tissue mobilization and dry needling, to promote optimal recovery for her patients. She has pursued continuing education certifications in dry needling (IMS) and has completed a certificate course in vestibular and concussion therapy, allowing her to further support patients experiencing dizziness, balance concerns, and post-concussion symptoms. She is passionate about helping individuals regain their function and improve their quality of life through tailored treatment plans. With a commitment to ongoing learning and patient-centered care, Emily strives to empower her patients on their journey to recovery. Having experienced her fair share of sport-related injuries growing up, she values taking an activity-specific and functional approach to rehabilitation, helping her patients get back to doing what they love. In her free time, Emily enjoys working out at the gym, hiking, and paddle-boarding in the mountains.
