Amanda studied massage therapy at Pacific College of Health and Science in NYC and The School of Healing Arts in San Diego, and she has taken additional courses in massage for people with cancer and hospital-based massage. Amanda is also a certified yoga instructor, trained on an ashram in India. Her interest in mind-body healing was sparked while studying physical theater at NYU. Amanda has worked as a massage therapist since 2007 in a range of settings including clinics, gyms, spas, and personal residences. Additionally, she is a writer, performer and Jewish educator, inspired by the ways her varied practices inform each other. She is in awe of the profound benefits of massage therapy on both her clients and herself. She hopes every client leaves her table feeling a sense of release and renewal.

Meridian Massage is a unique blend of Eastern and Western massage therapy techniques in one integrated session. Meridian Massage incorporates manual lymph drainage, acupressure, reflexology, energy work, and western massage techniques such as Swedish, Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release in an integrated session to meet the client's needs. In addition to musculoskeletal concerns, respiratory issues, headaches, digestive concerns, and reproductive functioning can be addressed.

Manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) is a type of gentle massage which is intended to encourage the natural drainage of the lymph, to reduce swelling and inflammation in the body. MLD is appropriate post surgically, for prenatal and postpartum care, and for general health and wellness. Longer sessions may focus on full body care while shorter sessions may be more targeted.
