Sonia is a Registered Acupuncturist and a graduate of Eight Branches College of Eastern Medicine. She offers acupuncture alongside traditional East Asian therapeutic modalities including cupping, Gua sha, Tui na, and moxibustion. Sonia also provides cosmetic acupuncture treatments, positioned as medical spa services that support skin health, circulation, and overall wellness through a clinical and holistic lens. Sonia is someone who deeply values simple living, holistic health, and community. She has long felt drawn to the study and practice of holistic medicine, and this calling ultimately led her to pursue formal training in acupuncture and East Asian medicine. Her clinical interests include mental health support, pre- and post-natal care for both Mom and Dad, and paediatric health, with a primary focus on behavioural and digestive concerns. Her approach to care is nurturing, integrative, and root-cause oriented. Sonia prioritizes holding a supportive and grounded space for healing, recognizing the importance of addressing both physical and emotional aspects of health. In addition to acupuncture treatments, Sonia offers adjunctive therapies such as red light therapy, ion detox foot baths, and castor oil treatments, allowing for individualized and comprehensive care. Sonia is committed to continued professional development and is currently pursuing further studies toward becoming a Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner (TCMP).
