Abbas has extensive knowledge and experience in physical therapy , sport injuries , and osteopathy manual practices. In 1998, he received his Master’s in Physical Therapy from the University of Sydney, focusing on sports and manipulative therapy. Abbas then received his doctorate in physical therapy in 2010 from Andrew’s University, where he completed courses in manipulative therapy, sports therapy, nutrition, and holistic healing. In 2010 Abbas also completed a 5 year program in osteopathy at the Canadian College of Osteopathy. The program involved 2 years of research in the latter part of the degree and the mastering of theoretical, practical, and clinical skills. His thesis focused on comparing the effect of treatment methods on the postural balance of women experiencing chronic pain following a hysterectomy. He continues to extend his knowledge on best practices for various manual therapy treatment methods.
