Dr. Ashley grew up playing many sports, including soccer, flag football, wrestling, gymnastics and cheerleading. It was through her love of sports that she found chiropractic and its’ incredible effect on the injuries which she obtained over her sporting career. She has sought out this profession in hopes that she can share the healing effects of chiropractic with her patients. Dr. Ashley has an undergraduate Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from McMaster University with a specialization in biomechanics, sports injuries and rehabilitation. Dr. Ashley also minored in Psychology while attending McMaster, focusing on sports and health psychology. She continued her education at Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, obtaining a Doctorate of Chiropractic. Dr. Ashley has also taken post-graduate training in foot and ankle injuries, pregnancy and pediatric care, concussion identification and management and neurofunctional acupuncture. She has treated many different populations of patients including office workers, weekend warriors and university athletes. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Ashley loves watching all sports, but she is a football fanatic and spends Saturday’s and Sunday’s watching NCAA and NFL games. She loves learning whenever she can, and regularly engages in continuing education courses to better aide her patients.
