As part of my practice and philosophy, I strive to both educate and heal my clients, empowering them to live better and healthier lives. I have been practicing massage therapy since May of 2015 and decided it was time to expand my practice. I provide a variety of massage styles including relaxation, deep tissue work, hot stone, prenatal, lymphatic, sport specific massage and IASTM (instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization) I will continue to expand my knowledge to include more techniques and modalities to be able to better serve my diverse clientele. I look forward to working with you.
Massage
Smooth stones are heated and then lubricated with oil or essential oils, the therapeutic effects of heat are used to relax muscles more deeply. Used as an extension of the therapist’s hands, the use of massage stones induces deep relaxation and provides a unique experience many find to be tremendously calming and centering.
Lymphatic Drainage
Lymphatic Drainage is a very gentle light massage that helps to direct lymph fluid towards the lymph nodes. When the lymphatic system gets blocked, or damaged, swelling, pain or infection can occur. Lymphatic massage can reduce swelling, improve circulation, boost immunity, aid weight loss, increase energy levels and promote relaxation by clearing the congested areas and redirecting the lymph.
