JuliAnn completed both her Bachelor’s of Science majoring Biology and Business and more recently her Master’s degree in Physical Therapy at the University of Alberta. Throughout her degrees and growing up (getting injured over and over) as a martial artist, JuliAnn developed a passion for studying and understanding the biomechanics of the human body, its response to stress and injury, and ultimately its resilient recovery response. She has developed a specialized interests in treating a variety of hand injuries and hopes to pursue her CHT designation in the future. She believes that the patient always comes first in their care. She strives to make sure patients understand their condition and are educated at every step of their treatment. She makes sure they are at the center of the decision-making process. By using a variety of techniques, including manual therapy, splinting, and exercise, she hopes to create lasting improvement in her patients’ pain levels and function. Outside of clinic, JuliAnn loves late night video game sessions and sports! Currently, she regularly plays volleyball and pickleball with her friends.
