Jenny’s diverse athletic background, and resultant injury history have been vital in her growth as a Physiotherapist. Her constantly-evolving practice is informed by a blend of evidence and experience. While pursuing her Bachelor of Kinesiology at SFU, Jenny was involved in varsity soccer and cross-country running. She later put academia on hold to pursue competitive road cycling alongside working as a Kinesiologist, which catalyzed her applied understanding of “exercise as medicine”. Following completion of her Masters of Physical Therapy in 2016, she has gained additional clinical experience in orthopedic manual therapy, trigger point dry needling, advanced treatment of the cervical spine and shoulder, neuro-rehabilitation (MS, Stroke/TBI, Parksinons) and is a level II Shift Concussion management practitioner. Jenny is particularly passionate about unravelling the complexities of concussion recovery and vestibular conditions (dizziness, vertigo, imbalance) and recently completed her Advanced Vestibular Physical Therapist Certification through the University of Pittsburg. Jenny aims to empower patients to play an active and informed role in their healthcare journey, prioritizing education as a key component of each session. Further, she strives to individually tailor her approach to meet your differing learning, lifestyle and economic needs. If your financial situation limits your ability to attend Physiotherapy, please let Jenny know and she will do her best to assist. Whether you are a recreational walker or high level athlete, Jenny will work with you to achieve your goals. If she’s not in the clinic, you’re likely to find her on the trails cross-country skiing, ski touring, mountain biking, wrangling two dogs or slowing down to read and play chess. If you are experiencing an acute dizziness or vertigo episode, please email Jenny directly so that she can find space in her schedule to accomodate you.

Book this session if your Physiotherapist has indicated an extended treatment session. It can be helpful if you are dealing with multiple injuries or are suffering complex issues.
