I pursued study in Massage Therapy after having a life altering experience with a low back injury in my late teens. Massage Therapy helped me recover and I knew that I needed to learn this skillset and share it. After graduating from the Canadian College of Massage & Hydrotherapy in 2003 with specializations in Pregnancy & Geriatrics, Osteopathic Studies were the next logical step. I completed my five years of Osteopathic Studies at the Canadian College of Osteopathy, Toronto/Vancouver in 2012. My research project on the Efficiency of Rousse’s Thoracic Cylinders Technique in Osteopathic Manual Treatment Post COVID-19 was completed and presented in 2025. I graduated with distinction and am now dually designated, holding memberships with Ontario Association of Osteopaths(OAO) and the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario(CMTO). I am a life long learner and resonate with Aristotle in the belief that “the more that you know, the more you don’t know.”. So I am currently enrolled in an American Post-Doctoral Traditional Cranial Osteopathic program in New England and continue to “Dig On”. Movement is key to life! Strength and mobility training as well as dance, yoga and pilates are routine for me. I am an active member at Midtown Yoga & Pilates. When appropriate, and so most often, I incorporate remedial exercises into treatment plans. “The body has what it needs to be healthy. Sometimes it just needs a gentle nudge in the right direction to help it move properly and restore function.” Sometimes we need to do some active re-training to help un-train the imbalances we create with our unnatural lifestyles. I strive to re-connect you with your health and help you strike a balance so that you can move & live well.
