My name is Lily Sardina and I am a NYS licensed massage therapist. Additionally, I have earned a B.S. Natural Science while attending the PT program at Daemen University. Liaison Bodywork is based on the idea that healing cannot be forced. It can only be guided. The body already remembers how it was without tension. I simply act as the liaison between mind and body. Our nervous system has two paths: fight-or-flight and rest & digest. With our nervous system constantly in fight-or-flight mode, the body gets the memo to tense up and guard. The nervous system simply needs to remember how to send the right signals, and the body must feel safe enough to release instead of guarding as a protective state. At Liaison Bodywork, you will get nothing but the most attentive care focusing on nervous system regulation. Rather than fast-paced or routine massage, I emphasize unhurried sessions.
