Meryll is a Doctor of Acupuncture and Registered Massage Therapist. With 20 years in clinical practice including, but not limited to, concerns such as motor vehicle injuries, repetitive strain, sports injuries, chronic pain, digestive issues and mental wellness. Meryll's unique approach to Acupuncture mainly blends elements of Traditional Chinese Medicine style Acupuncture, cupping, Guasha, and Sports/Orthopedic acupuncture AKA Acupuncture Dry Needling. In addition, Meryll has several certificates in Advanced Facial Rejuvenation acupuncture, Guasha, and Radial Acoustic Pressure Wave Therapy. With the goal of optimizing massage treatment results your treatment will likely not be a traditional massage therapy experience but may include other modalities such as Guasha, myofascial cupping, warm/hot stones, acupressure, Bowen, and joint mobilizations in addition to her base use of deep tissue, trigger point, fascial release. Modalities will be chosen based on your practitioners knowledge, experience and intuition, as well as your preference and feedback. Meryll has experience with motor vehicle, repetitive strain, work and performance related injuries as well as TMJ dysfunction and headaches. A therapeutic blend of Massage Therapy and Acupuncture in the same appointment time. This treatment will consist of a full Acupuncture Treatment as well as approximately 30-45 minute massage therapy as the time allows.
