I wasn’t always sold on chiropractic care. Growing up, I went regularly like a lot of people do, but it never really felt like it made a lasting difference. It was just something you did, felt a bit better, then moved on. That perspective changed after high school. I went through multiple leg injuries that led to surgeries, and for years I dealt with chronic pain and limited mobility. At a certain point, I just assumed that was how my body was going to be from then on. Then when I was 20, I saw an extremity chiropractor who didn’t just adjust my spine, but actually worked through my legs, feet, and joints in a way I had never experienced before. That visit changed everything. For the first time, I felt like my body wasn’t just being managed, it was actually starting to function and heal differently. That’s when I really understood what I now call root-cause care. Not chasing symptoms, but actually looking at how the whole system is working together, especially the extremities that most people overlook. At the time, I was studying psychology and criminology and planning to go into law enforcement. But after that experience, I couldn’t ignore what I had just felt and learned. I changed direction and committed myself fully to chiropractic, with a focus on extremity work, biomechanics, and finding the root cause of why the body isn’t functioning the way it should. Today, that’s what our practice is built around. We don’t just focus on where it hurts. We look at how the feet, knees, hips, and spine are working together, and how breakdowns anywhere in that chain can show up as pain or dysfunction somewhere else. We work with people who are tired of temporary fixes and want to understand what’s actually going on with their body so they can start making real progress. The goal is simple. Help you move better, feel stronger, and get back to feeling like yourself again. If you’ve tried everything and nothing seems to stick, I’ve been there. And I’d be glad to help you figure out what actually works for you.
During your initial exam, you and your chiropractor will review your health history, current concerns, and goals for care. Your visit will include a thorough movement-based assessment, which may involve posture, gait, and squat analysis to better understand your biomechanics and overall function. We will also perform a full spinal and extremity assessment to identify areas of restricted motion, irritation, compensation, or dysfunction that may be contributing to your symptoms. This appointment is designed to help us understand what is going on, determine whether chiropractic care is appropriate for you, and create a plan that is specific to your needs. Please note: The AdjustMeant Chiropractic does not bill insurance directly. Payment is due at the time of service.
