About Kristen Before beginning my career in physiotherapy, I was an athlete competing in both indoor and beach volleyball, which sparked my interest in sports rehabilitation. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and a Master of Arts in Human Kinetics, both from the University of Ottawa, followed by a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Alberta. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with a diverse range of individuals of various ages, from high performance athletes to those beginning their fitness journey. I have worked closely with athletes including, volleyball players, WHL officials, and runners, to help them recover, prevent injuries, and perform at their best. I have experience working with individuals who have suffered from neurological conditions such as strokes or brain injuries/concussions, as well as with those who experience jaw pain. Above all else, I strive to help people of all backgrounds stay active or get active; the human body was made to move. Outside of my professional life, I’m deeply committed to living an active lifestyle. Whether it’s hiking, running, weight training, or mountain biking, I am always looking for ways to challenge myself physically, and enjoy the outdoors. These activities keep me grounded and remind me of the incredible benefits of movement, which I bring into my work with clients every day. My approach to physiotherapy is simple: I want to empower you to manage your recovery, move better, feel better, and get back to doing the things you love. Whether you are recovering from an injury, managing a chronic condition, or looking to improve your fitness, I am here to guide and support you every step of the way. Let’s work together to help you stay active and live your best life! ### Specializations Physiotherapy Interests Running Hiking Weight Training Mountain Biking
