Daveena completed her Master of Physical Therapy at the University of British Columbia in 2024, following her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology from the University of the Fraser Valley. She has experience working with diverse populations in settings such as acute care, neurological rehabilitation, orthopedic surgery, private practice, and long-term care. Passionate about helping people move and live better, Daveena adopts a holistic, functional approach to physiotherapy, treating the body as an interconnected whole. Her treatment philosophy incorporates the biopsychosocial model, manual therapy, patient education, and client-centered exercise interventions, emphasizing the mind-body connection. Her goal is not only to heal injuries but also to go beyond the physical, helping patients achieve their functional goals and return to meaningful activities. She has a particular interest in working with neurological populations, women’s health, and older adults. Outside of work, Daveena enjoys exploring various fitness styles, experimenting with new recipes, and embracing new life experiences. She holds a National Orthopaedic Division Level I certificate and is committed to advancing her education to provide the highest standard of care while embracing lifelong learning. Dedicated to each patient’s recovery, Daveena provides individualized, movement-focused care to help them feel their best and empowers them to take an active role in their rehabilitation journey.
