Melissa Ong is a Registered Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner (R.TCMP) who provides acupuncture and herbal medicine treatments with a focus on individualized, patient-centred care. Melissa completed her training at the Toronto School of Traditional Chinese Medicine where she developed a strong foundation in TCM diagnosis, acupuncture and herbal medicine. Melissa has experience treating a variety of conditions including: - cancer - endocrine disorders - musculoskeletal pain - stress-related conditions - digestive concerns - and other internal medicine patterns She is passionate and committed to helping patients better understand their health and works collaboratively with patients to create treatment plans that support long-term balance and wellness.
Traditional Chinese Medicine history-taking, interview, assessment, diagnosis, and individualized treatment planning. Treatment plans may include: herbs, guided self-acupressure and moxibustion, nutrition, exercises, acupuncture sessions, meditations and wellness coaching (goal setting and follow-up). If there is enough time after the intake discussion, an initial acupuncture appointment will be performed during this visit.
