Christy graduated from Lakehead University with an Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology and a minor in Gerontology. In 2006, she graduated from Queen’s University with a Masters of Physical Therapy. Over the past 8 years she has worked in private clinics, retirement and long term care. Christy has been a Physiotherapist at Colhoun Family Chiropractic since 2015. Throughout her career, she has completed diplomas in acupuncture, lymphatic drainage and soft tissue release, which provide her with a variety of options for treating pain, mal-alignment and swelling issues. Christy is a Level 1 certified Neurokinetic Therapist, and has also completed several courses in Pelvic Health Physiotherapy which allow her to treat a variety of male and female pelvic floor conditions including incontinence, pelvic pain and pelvic organ prolapse.
