Alison is a proud born-and-bred Kentuckian, and is thrilled to return to the Commonwealth to assist her fellow Kentuckians achieve optimal health and live their lives to the fullest. Alison received her Masters of Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine (MAHM) degree from the Daoist Traditions College of Chinese Medical Arts in beautiful Asheville, North Carolina. The school’s 4-year program is widely considered to be one of the most respected and rigorous programs in the country for Classical Chinese medical education. Alison has an Undergraduate Degree from the University of Kentucky and a Masters Degree from Eastern Kentucky University. Her previous career was largely spent in Healthcare Administration, which she greatly enjoyed. Alison strives to listen to her patients and treat them as the individuals they are; to honor and hold space for their unique concerns related to their health and wellbeing; to help them achieve a life of robust health instead of simply avoiding illness; and to harness the ancient, healing power of Chinese Medicine while honoring and incorporating the often-beneficial role of Western Medicine.
