Ora, our in-house certified athletic therapist and osteopath, worked for Cirque du Soleil for four years and at the National Circus School for nine years. She is the coordinator and head therapist for rhythmic gymnastics in Quebec and has organized and managed the therapy program for two world cup events in Montreal. She graduated from Concordia University with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science with a specialization in athletic therapy and studied at the Collège d’études ostéopathiques where she defended her thesis, “The effects of a general osteopathic treatment on pregnant women suffering from lumbosacral and/or pelvic girdle pain” and won the Sutherland Award for clinical research. As a mother of three, she is sensitive to the needs of adults and children and is experienced in treating the young and old alike. Ora, notre thérapeute du sport agréée et ostéopathe interne, a travaillée pour le Cirque du Soleil pendant quatre ans et pour l’École Nationale de Cirque pendant neuf ans. Elle est la coordonnatrice et la thérapeute en chef pour la gymnastique rythmique du Québec et où elle a organisé et géré le programme de thérapie pour deux évènements de la Coupe du monde à Montréal. Elle a gradué de l’Université de Concordia avec un baccalauréat en sciences de l’exercice avec une spécialisation en thérapie du sport. Ora a aussi étudiée au Collège d’Études Ostéopathiques où elle a défendu sa thèse, «Les effets d’un traitement ostéopathique général sur les femmes enceintes qui souffrent de douleur lombo-sacrée et/ou de douleur de la ceinture pelvienne». Elle a gagné le prix Sutherland pour sa recherche clinique. Mère de trois enfants, elle est sensible aux besoins des adultes ainsi que ceux des enfants et elle est formée pour traiter les jeunes et les plus âgés pareillement.
